👼 Philosophical & Spiritual context of 3L

Overview

  • 3L is not intended to be ‘spiritual’. It is practical. 3L is a legal and moral framework in the interests of world peace. While 3L harmonizes with the Golden Rule found in all major philosophical and spiritual traditions, agreeing to not aggress and treating others excellently does not require faith.
  • However, those who have some sort of spiritual inclination may see that the 3L Philosophy is an outward manifestation of that which spiritual practitioners seek for their inner world: freedom, peace and love.
  • For the spiritually inclined, self-sovereignty is required if we are to truly serve God in the unique form we have been endowed with, and not the desires of other people. From self-sovereignty, we are able to serve others from choice, not from fear of imprisonment.

Missing the target

  • Our gift to the world is to be ourselves - a unique expression of consciousness.
  • The original Greek word for ‘sin’ meant ‘missing the target’ - it insinuates that your life is like an arrow with its own unique target… when we compare ourselves with others, ‘compari-sin’, we miss our own target.
  • We are our best when we are authentic selves: Christ Consciousness, Buddha Mind, Return to the Fitrah of Allah.

To those who follow a ‘spiritual’ path, not interested in political freedom

  • Where does the profane end and the spiritual start? The reason for asking is this: what makes you think that freedom in the material realm is not connected to freedom in the spiritual realm? I do not know whether they are connected, but it makes sense to me that more outer freedom would be conducive to more inner freedom. The same applies for peace.
  • And our faith or lack of faith should not matter when it comes to doing the right thing here on earth. What importance is the belief or non-belief in God when it comes to protecting life? Protecting life should be equally important to the believer and non-believer.
