Risks of Rapid Reform

Why is Rapid Reform Risky?

There are many unintended consequences of rapid reform, particularly when it is top-down reform (i.e. politically-driven legal reform).

Even in the name of justice, such rapid reform may shift the framework of institutions in such a way as to undermine the rule of law which should be protecting individuals.

Reform that grants any individuals as exempt from the Legal Principle is especially dangerous.

Politically-imposed liberal reform generally relies on aggressing to implement their changes in society. Rapid reform imposed from the top down without cultural winning of hearts and minds produces counter-productive situations against the interests of global peace.
