Overview
- Successfully achieving global peace requires reconciliation between divided groups of people. We must prefer achieving freedom, peace, and our highest level of prosperity over forcing others to live as we prefer. This is the cost we must pay to achieve our goals. The time for fighting and belittling others who disagree with us is over. Let’s focus on the substantial areas of agreement. We must come together and rally around shared goals. The 3L Philosophy is not saying anything new or controversial-it is the minimum essential framework for law that all groups should be able to agree on, no matter your religion, race, sexual preference, or political opinions.
- By all agreeing on this minimalist framework for peaceful cooperation, we can evolve out of the current paradigm of other humans being our enemies, towards one peaceful sisterhood and brotherhood of humanity.
3L is neither ‘left’ nor ‘right’, but takes the best from both
3L’s alignment with liberal values:
- Skin pigment levels, class, nationality, religion, or any other immutable characteristic are irrelevant when it comes to the law - all are treated equally.
- What you put in your body is your choice. This applies to topics like drugs, prostitution, and healthcare (with the caveat that no action may breach the Legal Principle).
- Competent adults should be free to terminate their lives, gamble, worship, speak freely, and love whoever they choose.
