What is ethics?

Ethics, in the context of Live and Let Live refers to how one ought to act toward others. It falls in the domain of the Moral Principle.

While the Legal Principle defines what is illegal (i.e. aggression), the Moral Principle defines what is, to some, unethical but, nevertheless, legal.

No law determines whether something is ethical or not.

Something is ethical when it is a precondition for sustaining civility between humans.
